The next step in your web development journey!

If you’ve done our web development foundation course, this is a perfect next step.

If you’ve done a front end course or have been teaching yourself HTML, CSS, Javascript, this is the course for you.

Day: Saturdays

Location: Bethnal Green, London (Bethnal Green station, Whitechapel station, Bethnal Green Overground).

Time: 10am-4pm with an hour lunch from 12pm-1pm You can arrive earlier and use the space to relax, eat, work, catch up, etc.

Your peers: There will be a maximum of 14 people in a class. Everyone comes with different life experiences, and backgrounds. Some people want to go on to be developers, others to run their own companies, some are upskilling in their current roles. What everyone has in common, is a desire to learn and support one another. You can read some of our student stories here.

Sick days/days off: We know that you’re committed, but sometimes life/immune systems get in the way! For this course, missing an entire day is a lot of content to catch up on so we will provide you will all the resources to self-study, will be on Slack to answer any questions during the week, and will be available during the lunch hour the following Saturday to help you catch up.

You will tick some (not all!) of these bullet points:

  • You have done our web development foundation course
  • You have taught yourself some web development
  • You have a good Javascript foundation to work from
  • You have worked with a version control system
  • You’re interested in web technologies
  • You’re passionate about accessibility
  • You want to learn in a supportive, non-competitive, open, and caring environment
  • Like us, you believe the culture in the tech industry needs to change and you want to be part of that change

You will need a laptop and a charger. We do not provide these.

If you forget your laptop at home one session, let us know so we can make sure we have one ready for you in class.

Once the course ends, it’s not goodbye from us. In fact, we like to think of it as the beginning. We have a community Slack group for our alumni, and an alumni newsletter keeping you updated on opportunities, news and more!

Career Development: If you are looking for a career in web development, we will have a one to one discussion on goals and create a roadmap together to achieve this. We will be there with you every step of the way. Although we do not guarantee employment, we pride ourselves on helping our students reach their full and desired potential. Further Training: All of our alumni are entitled to family discounts for life on future training with us.
